Ashley serves as the dynamic facilitator for the Multiple Sclerosis program of the Havasu Community Health Foundation. Although she was diagnosed with M.S. in 2018, she has been able to recover from many symptoms with little to no relapses which let her embrace the joys of skydiving, swimming with the dolphins, and zip lining. She continues to help others in their discovery of the disease through personal experiences with honesty and usually humor. She enjoys advocating for multiple sclerosis awareness as it helps others to reflect on how to be more understanding and sincere in their actions. Ashley enjoys her career writing grants and fundraising for United Way. She is a mother of two sons and a proud native of Lake Havasu City. If you are looking for ready-to-use tools, and practical tips, you are sure to find them through the MS peer-to-peer support group with Ashley’s help.
Our support group recognizes that Multiple Sclerosis is a disease of impaired nerve signaling within a person’s brain and spinal cord. Our support group is a valuable peer-to-peer resource for those living with MS. This will allow you to connect with people with similar experiences and some who have the same challenges that you are facing. There are additional resources available to you online that can benefit and strengthen your knowledge of coping with MS.
