Our Programs
Every program is funded by community donations and run by caring volunteers and staff — all staying right here in Lake Havasu City.
Arizona Tax Credit
As a Qualifying Charitable Organization, donations to HCHF may qualify for Arizona's Charitable Tax Credit — up to $506 (individuals) or $1,009 (married couples) for tax year 2026.
Cancer Association of Havasu
Supporting local cancer patients and survivors through the Cancer Association of Havasu and Bosom Buddies programs — providing screenings, individualized support sessions, hydrotherapy, and community connection for those facing a cancer diagnosis.
COPD & Cardiac Wellness
Supporting education and peer support programs for community members managing COPD and heart health conditions.
Dementia Connection of Havasu
Peer-led education, caregiver support groups, memory screenings, and virtual dementia tours for individuals and families navigating Alzheimer's disease and dementia in the Lake Havasu area.
HCHF Food Bank
Monthly food boxes for Lake Havasu families facing food insecurity — keeping our shelves stocked and our doors open to those who need it most.
Health Related Programs & Support Groups
Peer-led education and support for Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, stroke recovery, COPD, cardiac wellness, and chronic illness support — because isolation makes illness harder.
Low-Cost Screenings & Labs
Heavily discounted blood panels, mammograms, cancer screenings, X-rays, MRIs, and bone density scans for uninsured, underinsured, and high-deductible participants.
Parkinson's Strong & Steady
Community connection, peer-led education, and support resources for Lake Havasu individuals and caregivers living with Parkinson's disease — because no one should face it alone.
Stroke Recovery & Caregivers
Building community for stroke survivors and their caregivers through regular support groups and recovery resources.
Suicide Awareness & Emotional Health
Raising awareness and providing free LCSW counseling assessments plus 1-6 sessions for those in emotional crisis.
Veterans Programs
Affordable housing, lab access, backpacks for homeless veterans, and free transportation to Veterans Treatment Court hearings and counseling sessions.
Youth Health Fair
Back-to-school immunizations, free sports physicals, and required health screenings for local kids — so no child starts the school year without the care they need.
