HCHF community programs in Lake Havasu

Programs & Services

HCHF serves as a broad umbrella organization for dozens of vital local healthcare and social service initiatives. Here's how we serve the Lake Havasu community.

Our Programs

Every program is funded by community donations and run by caring volunteers and staff — all staying right here in Lake Havasu City.

Health Related Programs & Support Groups

You don't have to face it alone

HCHF facilitates regular peer-led education, support groups, and private sessions, so community members living with serious conditions can connect, learn, and support one another.

  • Alzheimer's disease and Dementia (including caregivers support groups, memory screenings and virtual dementia tours)
  • Parkinson's disease
  • Stroke — a community for survivors, recovery and caregivers
  • Emotional health and suicide awareness
  • Cancer screenings, individualized support sessions, hydrotherapy

Low-Cost Medical Screenings & Labs

Affordable diagnostics for every participant

For in-need participants who are uninsured, underinsured, or facing exceptionally high deductibles, HCHF provides public access to heavily discounted diagnostic services. Cost should never be the reason someone skips a life-saving screening.

  • Standard blood panels (Lipid, Comprehensive Metabolic, Vitamin D, A1c)
  • Mammograms and Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) blood tests
  • Early cancer detection screenings
  • X-rays, MRIs, and bone density scans
